You get what you compensate for

The name of this product is very misleading: it holds only 5% down. It is also noisy–the lining makes a comparatively earsplitting crinkling sound like plastic. This may still go away, I have no idea. Other reviewers report feathers sticking out and poking persons after just a few weeks. But it costs 1/10 what a nice down comforter does…so…you get what you remunerate for. To it is credit, it is warm, has nice loft, and is light.

They have changed it!

I ordered one of these last year around Christmas and was very happy with the quality. So much so that I ordered two more this year for my children. The comforter I received this year is not one thing like the one last year. It is precisely like the posts that describe it as sewn together sheets with feathers poking out of it! You may feel the plucked feathers everywhere! Yuck! The one from last year is soft, with fine down and not a feather poking anywhere. It is sad that there is such inconsistency in the product.

Heavenly Beds on a Budget

This company, Natural Comfort has to be the best held mystery out there. Whoever you are… BLESS YOU! I love your stuff, loves it! I have to compare this to the overprice Pacific Coast Feather Co. I used to buy their products, but not anymore as long as this one is affordable. This company in truth uses GOOSE FEATHER DOWN. A huge divergence from “feather filled”. Down merchandise must be made of goose or duck down and is a soft tame underneath feather that looks like a matured dandelion head flying in the breeze. Down feathers are applied by the birds is employed for bird nesting and insulation for birds to stay warm for the duration of cold seasons that’s why it is such a outstanding product for bedding. Feather filled may be made of a heap of types of fowl feathers… particulary chicken, wild game, turkey or goose from mercantile farms and are hard and pointy. Feather filled merchandise will tend to poke out of fabric or feel “hard” beneath your touch. With this comforter, you get not one thing like it. You may tell it is real goose down and if you hold it up to the light, you may see the down beneath the fabric. Yeah, possibly the pockets are not filled completely, but you don’t need it to be. This comforter holds the heat in. I love it. I commend it to APO clients and stateside. Awesome product.
